Job Description

Title:              Head of Private Clients – Trust Services

Location:      Central, Hong Kong

We are assisting one of the leading financial services businesses globally with their expansion across the APAC regions.

With an enviable track record of superior risk management and innovative services offerings, the Client is seeking to strengthen its Trust Services offerings with the search and appointment of a senior hire. This Head of Trust Services will focus on the private client’s side, and it is anticipated that mandarin and Cantonese skills are a necessity due to the high level of clients interfacing expected of Mainland based clientele.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate the goals, objectives and business plan of the Private Trust business sector
• Design and devise business plan effectively for promoting and securing trust services to high-net-worth private trust clients (both bank and non-bank channels)
• Lead the team to ensure smooth delivery of high-level customer services to our valued clients
• Collaborate and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders
• Train and develop subordinates so that staff can perform up to the required standard and successors can be identified
• Perform ad-hoc assignments and business strategy as required

Requirements:

• Degree in Law, Accounting or business-related disciplines, preferably with professional qualification such as HKCIS, CPA, TEP, ACCA
• Min 8 years of solid experience in private trust business with 3 years in managerial role preferred
• Sound knowledge in trust set-up and routine administrative operation
• Capability to draw up effective marketing plan independently
• Good business acumen with innovative ideas
• Marketing experience in Mainland China market is an advantage
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, Putonghua is a must
• Immediately available is highly preferred
