Job Description

Title:             Finance/Accounting (Financial Services, SFC licensed 1, 2,4,6 & 9, Chinese required)

Location:      TST, Kowloon, Hong Kong

Background:          

Our client is a top Greater China Investment Bank and asset management/investment management group with offices all over the mainland and in Hong Kong operates under the SFC regime for Types 1,2, 3,4, 6 and 9

They are now seeking a smart and ambitious Finance/Accounting professional with up to minimum 3 or 4 years’ experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide full accounting supports to various business operation (securities brokerage, asset management, corporate finance, investments of the Group)
• Prepare Group consolidation (including investment funds)
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly reports/financial statements to the parent company/regulatory bodies
• Prepare breakdowns, management reports, forecast and analysis
• Enhance the accounting work flows, internal controls and systems
• Liaise with auditors or tax advisors for the annual audit and tax filings

 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines with minimum 3 years relevant working experience (prior experience in professional audit firms is preferable)
• Qualified accountant with HKICPA or other recognized professional accounting bodies is preferable
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Vice President
• Familiar with Hong Kong Accounting Standards, Company Ordinance and Securities Finance Ordinance
• Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
